SENATOR GNS PWAJOK BLASTS APC OVER PLAN TO BLOCK LEGISLATIVE PROPOSALS FROM JONATHAN

Senator Representing Plateau North Senatorial zone in the National Assembly, Gyang Pwajok has challenged the All Progressives Congress APC to differentiate between governance and politics.

The Senator was reacting to a directive by the APC to its members in both chambers of the National Assembly to block all legislative proposals from the Executive arm of government over the protracted crisis in Rivers state.
Senator Gyang Pwajok said blocking such communication between the Executive and Legislative arms of government will affect good governance in the country.
"That's the unfortunate thing. Governance is not politics. When you are campaigning you can afford to take political stand on certain issues. But when you are into governance you should be concerned that it is a multi party, bi partisan position and must ensure tht everybody is working for the general good of nigeria" Pwajok said.
He added that "the President should not be seen simply as a pdp man, he is presently elected by nigerians as a president of nigeria. So in governance, he is the president of all people regardless of party affilliations".
Senator Gyang Pwajok berates the quest to get power at all cost by the All Progressives Congress saying every President regardless of the party that formed it will eventually need the support of everyone.
