Residents of Dadin Kowa a settlement in Jos yesterday woke up to a gory sight of a middle age man hanging on top of an electric pole belonging to NESCO apparently in an attempt to steal it.
After successfully cutting down two lines of the cables from the other end, luck ran out on him while trying to finish the job from this end of the pole when something went wrong and he was electrocute to death on the spot.
Residents said this is the fifth time vandals are stealing NESCO cables in the neighborhood.
