A funeral service held in his honor at the government house chapel in Rayfield where sympathizers including representative of President Goodluck Jonathan, Minister of Water resources Serah Ochekpe, Senate President David Mark (who came to the venue on a chopper), Deputy Governor Ignatius Longjan, Senators Joshua Dariye and GNS Pwajok, Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly Titus Alams, State Government officials, Gbong Gwon Jos Da Jacob Gyang Buba, Family, acquaintances and political associates.
He was laid to rest in his home town foron in Barkin Ladi LGA of Plateau State.
