The Jos Metropolitan
Development board JMDB has demolished structures at the Jos inland container
depot Heipang belonging to Duncan Maritime Ventures.
The main administrative
building and the gate of the company were all affected by the demolition exercise.
Acting project Manager
of Duncan Maritime Ventures Nenfort Gonchen said that no reason was
advanced by JMDB for the demolition of its structures.
He described the action
as illegal since there is a court order restraining JMDB from carrying out the
demolition exercise.
