HANDSHAKE ACROSS EBOLA

We love handshake in Nigeria for all the good reasons! Naturally Nigerians are good spirited people who will shake hands at any given opportunity. A typical Nigerian will shake you to greet you, laugh and shake you, shake you when he's excited, shake your hands when saying goodbye, shake you to say congratulations or even shake you to say sorry!
And this is regardless of the fact that he's just coming from the toilet, hospital or farm! Or even after picking his/her nose or his/her ears.
i had the experience of once strolling with a friend when we met this group of friends. Next thing, we shook hands with them and still shook hands with ourselves without even realising my friend and i have been together!
So now that EBOLA is staring us boldly in the face we all become apprehensive again. Hand sanitizers have suddenly become hot commodities in Nigeria! Yet we still maintain our handshakes and 'brotherliness'.
Next time someone declines your handshake please do not be embarssed because it is about time we learn how to be modest in our greetings and take our health more seriously! BE GUIDED
