Nigeria Under-20 national team secured a comfortable 3-1 win against hosts Senegal at the 2015 African Youth Championship (AYC) in Dakar on Sunday.
The record six-time African champions hit the ground running thanks to a Taiwo Awoniyi brace and Ifeanyi Matthew’s brilliant strike either side of Sidy Sar’s consolation.
The Flying Eagles dominated a lively first half proceedings, which produced all four goals, and confidently held out for maximum points at the Stade Leopold Sedar Senghor.
