Pastor Paul Ojoh, the resident Pastor, Shepherd House Assembly, Jos, on Sunday conducted special prayers for Nigerian women to enable them fulfill their destinies in life.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the special prayers were conducted as part of activities marking the 2015 International Women’s’ Day celebrated across the world on March 8.
Ojoh, who described women as the `bedrock of the society,’ stated that if women are blessed, it would have multiplier effects on all the members of their family.
He also used the occasion to pray for women waiting for the fruit of the womb.
``With God all things are possible and He will grant you the fruit of the womb," he said.
The pastor, who also prayed for women seeking job opportunities, admission and life partners, urged them to trust in God to meet their heart desires.
He called on women to always intercede for their families, saying that God answers the prayers of the faithful.
NAN reports that International Women's Day is celebrated annually, is an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of women while calling for greater equality.
The theme of this year’s International Women’s’ Day is: ``Make it happen.'’ (NAN)
