NSCDC Parades Suspected Vandals of Oil Pipelines in Jos

The Plateau State Command of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corp, NSCDC, has paraded three persons arrested while vandalizing NNPC oil pipelines in Mista Ali near Jos.

Parading the suspects before newsmen at the state headquarters of the NSCDC, State commandant, Vincent Bature, said they were arrested through a joint effort with Vigilante groups and the Special Task Force STF.Vincent Bature said already the suspects are giving very useful information leading the arrest of other suspected vandals still at large and investigation is ongoing.He said the federal government considers tampering with such national assets by any group or individuals as a serious crime against the people of Nigeria.Vincent Bature then warned that the state command of the NSCDC is poised to deal with any person or persons found vandalizing such national assets.The suspects will be charged to court.
