Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has dumped the People's Democratic Party PDP, for the All Progressives Congress APC.
A statement released by the former Vice President yesterday says following an extensive consultative process, he has decided to cast his lot with the APC.
Atiku Abubakar added that his resignation letter as a member of the People's Democratic Party will be delivered to the party today.
He encouraged his political associates and friends to register and join the APC once the registration exercise commences.
