Plateau Buries Former Deputy Governor, Michael Botmang

The body of former Deputy Governor of Plateau State, Michael Botmang has been laid to rest.
His body was interred at the family compound after a well attended requiem mass which held at Chuel Suga, Zawan in Jos South Local Government Area.
Catholic Arch Bishop of Jos, Arch Bishop Ignatius Kaigama who performed the funeral rites described death as a necessary end.
Arch Bishop Ignatius Kaigama called on politicians to make peace with each other just as Late Michael Botmang did before his death.
Plateau State Governor, Jonah Jang who was represented by his deputy, Ignatius Longjan said the entire state was saddened by the death of Michael Botmang.
One time Governor of Plateau State Fidelis Tapgun, Former Deputy Senate President, Ibrahim Mantu, Senator Gyang Pwajok and Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly Titus Alams all eulogized the person of the late Deputy Governor.
Sympathizers including top politicians, traditional rulers the clergy and the entire Berom nation were on ground to pay their last respect.
Late chief Michael Botmang a Knight of Saint Gregory the Great KSGG, died on the 18th of January 2014 after a protracted illness leaving behind a wife, Ngo Lydia Botmang, Children and grand children. He died at the age of 76.
